Kolektor Etra has been named Delo’s Business Star 2024 in the large companies category!

Yesterday, on November 7, 2024, at a gala event, the media house Delo announced its Business Stars for the eighth consecutive year. In the large companies category, the nominees included Danfoss Trata, Intersocks, and Kolektor Etra. Kolektor Etra won the first prize.

As the judging panel noted in its explanation, Kolektor Etra stands out for its excellent products in a growing industry and for its outstanding business results. Last year, we achieved €228 million in sales revenue – 27 percent more than the previous year. This year, we expect to exceed our target of €260 million in revenue, as we recorded 25 percent higher sales in the first seven months compared to the same period last year. Our plan for this year includes €200,000 in added value per employee, which is among the highest in the industry in Slovenia and the EU. In the coming years, we will invest over €80 million, allowing for a significant increase in capacity and revenue, which we aim to reach €400 million. With this, we will rank among the top three specialized transformer companies in the EU.

This award is a testament to each of our employees, who work together every day to TRANSFORM THE FUTURE!

Kolektor Etra signed an 80-million-euro contract with E.ON

This year, we have witnessed an exceptional volume of orders, among which stands out the recently signed largest contract in the history of our company. In March, we successfully signed a record contract worth 80 million euros with the reputable German company E.ON. In the years 2026 and 2027, we plan to deliver 53 power transformers with a voltage of 110 kV and a power range from 20 to 80 MVA. If there would be more production capacity available, the order would likely have exceeded even higher.

The trend of increasing demand for transformers continues at Kolektor Etra. “Due to the extensive orders, we have fully booked production capacities for this and next year, including a third of 2026,” reveals Peter Novak, Commercial Director. This year, we plan to manufacture approximately 280 transformers, of which five to six will be supplied to the domestic market in Slovenia. Our commitment to high quality, reliability, and excellent service delivered within agreed timelines elevates us higher each year on the list of the world’s best transformer manufacturers. Therefore, we have managed to increase our market share in the European market from four to five percent.

We are focused on more demanding customers with specific needs. The majority of our transformers are custom-made for individual customers and projects, resulting in almost no standard products. Our goal is to continue on the path of growth and improvements, striving to become even better provider of high-quality transformers in the global market.
